4th - 6th grade students were given the opportunity to participate in a challenge to memorise as many digits of Pi as possible.
26 students took part in the challenge across both departments. There were many serious contenders, with a third of students having memorised over 50 digits.
The overall winner was Kaja from the 6th grade class who memorised 115 digits.
Congratulations to her and all the other students who participated! Special mention to students who excelled in this competition: Krishika (6th grade) with 101 digits, Likitha (6th grade) with 98 digits, Katrín (6. bekkur) with 60 digits, Jaagruthi (4th grade) with 55 digits, Pétur (4. bekkur) with 51 digits and Elísa (5th grade) with 50 digits.
Congratulations also to Kathrine (5th grade) who memorised 170 digits but unfortunately made 3 mistakes during the challenge.
