Í næstu viku hefjast framkvæmdir við Landakotskirkju en skipta á um þak á kirkjunni.  Svæðið í kringum kirkjuna verður girt af og þar verður m.a. komið fyrir byggingarkrana. Áætlað er að þessar framkvæmdir muni standa yfir í allt sumar og eitthvað fram á næsta haust

Sérstök áhersla verður lögð á að passa upp á nemendur í frímínútum. Það er von skólans að þetta muni ekki hafa mikil áhrif á skólastarf en mikilvægt er að skólasamfélagið sé vel upplýst um framkvæmdir. 

Replacing the roof of Landakot's church

The roof of Landakots Church will be being replaced and the work on this begins next week. The area around the church will be fenced off and there will be cranes in that area. It is expected that this work will go on into the autumn term and staff members will closely supervise all our students on the yard to ensure they do not go near the work area. We don't expect this to cause significant issues for our students, this message is just to inform you that this will be happening.
