Samfélagslöggurnar er verkefni á vegum Lögreglunnar á höfuðborgarsvæðinu og þeirra hlutverk er að fara á milli grunnskóla með fræðslu. 

Tilgangur verkefnisins er að færa lögregluna nær fólkinu og þá sérstaklega unga fólkinu okkar. María og Simmi komu til okkar með frábæran fyrirlestur um þeirra störf og gafst nemendum tækifæri á að spyrja ýmissa spurninga auk þess að fá að máta og prófa búnað sem lögreglufólk notar dags daglegaí sínum störfum. 

 On the 2nd of April students in 8b, 9b, 8th and 9th got a visit from the Society cops. The Society cops is a project run by the Police in the capital area and their role is to go between primary and secondary schools and give presentations.

The purpose is for the police to become more accessible to the people, especially our young people. María and Simmi came to our school and gave a great lecture about their job and the students were able to ask about whatever, they also got the chance to try on and handle the equipment the police uses on daily basis in their work.
