Please note that an Orange Weather Warning has been issued for the Greater Reykjavik Area, effective from 07:00 until 13:00 on Thursday, 26 March.
PEOPLE ARE URGED TO STAY AT HOME UNTIL THE STORM PASSES OVER TOMORROW AND NOT TO BE OUTSIDE UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.
Tomorrow, Thursday, there will be disruptions to all school operations. Landakotsskóli will remain open but with minimal staffing. The school will be open for children of guardians who provide socially important services/emergency services and for children of guardians who are not covered by the announcements. If parents need to bring their children to school, we request that they notify school administrators via email. Please send an email to sigrun@landakotsskoli.is or jenny@landakotsskoli.is for IDL.

We kindly ask you to follow the news closely and wish everyone to stay safe. We expect school activities to return to normal on Friday.
To parents in 7th – 10th grade. We expect the student council WILL BE ABLE to host the entertaining "whodunit" mystery as planned on Thursday evening in school as the weather is expected to have passed by then. We will send an email around noon to confirm this.
