Orientation meeting on Thursday, August 20th
We will begin the orientation meeting in the school's canteen or (for 9th and 10th grade students in the Stýró site behind Landakots hospital,) where you will have the opportunity to meet many teachers and staff members working with your child(ren) this year. The meetings will last around an hour and we ask that parents attend with their children if possible.
The orientation sessions will be divided into groups as follows:
International department
8:30 - KG, 1st and 2nd - meet in hall for 15 minutes then go to homerooms
9:00 - 9th and 10th at Stýró – Meet in Icelandic 9.b grade room (downstairs) and move to homerooms.
10:30 – 3rd, 4th and 5th - meet in hall for 15 minutes then go to homerooms
13:30 - 6th, 7th and 8th- meet in hall for 15 minutes then go to homerooms
Teaching begins on Friday 21st August and the afterschool programme begins then for students in Kindergarten - 4th grade. There is no childcare on offer on 20th August.
